Days of Thunder Ahead?
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman are almost as famous for professing their love as they are famous. The big question now is, can they keep up friendly appearances? Last Monday they "stressed their great respect for each other: in a statement announcing plans to separate after 10 years of marriage. The actors, who used to boast they'd never been apart for more than 12 day, cited their "careers which constantly kept them apart" as the reason for the split. Whatever the cause (tabloids have speculated about everything from Scientology to his sexuality), now that the fairy-tale ride has ended, you can forget Cruise control. Tom filed for divorce just two days later, asking "that the dissolution of the marriage be handled amicably" - and that the court not award Kidman spousal support. Given that she's hired the same divorce lawyer who negotiated the prickly, not to mention profitable, partings of Patricia Duff and Marla Maples, all that mutual affection is going to be a tougher sell in the future.

A French doctor's wrinkle-reducing injections have Parisian socialites buzzing. Dr. Dray, a Paris-based dematologist is behind the Mesolift, in which an anti-aging cocktail of goodies - copper and zinc, vitamins, and hyaluronic acid - is shot into the skin with a microinjection gun. Dray recommends his treatment for women from "30 until eternity." but his model patients, of whome there are many, begin at 25.

As George W. Bush scrambled to select his new staff before the inauguration, his wife, Laura, was busy choosing her fashion cabinet. The job profile: to design a wardrobe for the Republican first lady.  The appointees: an all-texas team led by Michael Faircloth, Susan Dell, and Lela Rose.

To kick things off, Mrs. Bush called on Faircloth-her trusted dressmaker since 1993, who has an established Dallas-society clientele-to create her inaugural gown, a red Cahntilly-lace dress with hand-beaded Austrian crystals.  BAZAR

Joint Pain and Gray Hair are Gone

Dr. Fritz Wiedermann, a German physician who treated over 600 patients with Gerovital, said: "The results were stunning and happened very fast." Reporters were shown a file on a 67-year-old woman who was unable to work due to constant crying spells and sever joing pain. The records showed that, within a week of taking Gerovital, she was back at her job. Withing three months, her joint pains had subsided and her swollen hands had become normal again.

Naan-Nokhodchi


Ingredients: (4 servings) 

fine chick-pea flour, 500 grams 
fine sugar, 250 grams 
cooking oil, 300 grams 

Directions: 

Mix sugar and oil and beat until the mix is very smooth. Add chick-pea flour and mix very well until the dough is smooth and
thick. Pour the dough in a plastic bag and leave for several hours. 

Form small (2 cm) balls from the dough. Texture the surface of each ball using a fine comb. Cook the balls in the oven at 300 F
for 20-30 minutes. The balls should turn slightly golden but the colour should not change much.
